DKV CARD Activated for Toll System “Platon” in Russia

From now on, customers of the European mobility service provider DKV Mobility can use the DKV CARD to pay their toll fees in Russia. This provides them with more flexibility and saves valuable time. DKV Mobility customers can choose between two options: Either they use the DKV CARD to book and pay for route tickets at the toll terminal as well as in the operator portal, or to top up their card or account.

(Ratingen) As a gateway to the Silk Road, Russia opens the most important trade route between Europe and Asia. “We are very pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to settle tolls in Russia now with the DKV CARD. Russia is a strategically important country as it provides a transit route to Kazakhstan and China. Tolls can also already be settled via the DKV CARD in other nearby countries such as Georgia, Belarus, or the Baltics,” says Jérôme Lejeune, Managing Director Toll at DKV Mobility. “Every day, countless goods are transported along the Silk Road between Europe and Asia. We want to connect these routes better and strengthen the infrastructure by offering flexible toll solutions for our customers.”

In addition to the DKV CARD, DKV Mobility offers a wide range of toll solutions for all of Europe – including on-board units such as the DKV BOX Europe, vignettes, or route tickets.
