24. January 2022As part of the integration of subsidiaries and affiliated companies into the HGK Group, the management of “Neska Schiffahrts- und Speditionskontor GmbH” has been restructured. Following his entry into the Neska management in November 2020, Markus Krämer has now been appointed chairman of the Neska management retroactively as of October 1, 2021, which he forms together with Jan Zeese and Andreas Grzib.
(Köln) The companies of Neska, specialized in logistics and handling, have been consolidated under the umbrella of the HGK Group since spring 2021. The former individual brands Neska, Pohl & Co., UCT, DBT, CTS, KCT, and RRT have since been operating uniformly under the brand name “HGK Logistics and Intermodal.” “We are pleased that Markus Krämer is taking the lead in further integration within Neska and the HGK Group. The processes already initiated are necessary to successfully assert ourselves in a partially challenging market environment,” says Uwe Wedig, Chairman of the Board of HGK AG.
Markus Krämer has already held various management positions within the HGK Group. Until 2018, the now 34-year-old was responsible as authorized signatory for the railway sales of the HGK subsidiary RheinCargo. Between 2018 and October 2021, he managed the investment management of the HGK Group as authorized signatory and was significantly involved in the acquisition process of the current HGK Shipping in the summer of 2020.
Critical questioning of all structures
The goal of the Neska management is to position the company sustainably and future-oriented after challenging business years. “We are currently critically questioning all structures. Where appropriate, we will make adjustments with our team. Together, we want to further develop HGK Logistics and Intermodal to continue to make an important contribution to the success of the HGK Group in the future,” explains the new Neska CEO his plans.
