In the 16th edition of the customer magazine ATLAS by Gebrüder Weiss, everything revolves around the theme of “Speed.” As a highly individual experience, a sprinter, a track cyclist, a motorcyclist, logistics professionals, a time researcher, and a Mars expert report on the role speed plays in their lives.
(Lauterach) The special section focuses on the 13th Mars analog mission of the Austrian Space Forum (ÖWF), which Gebrüder Weiss supported as the official logistics partner. The special provides insights into what an analog mission is, why it was conducted, and how the logistics work. Dr. Gernot Grömer, co-founder and director of the ÖWF, discusses technological challenges, trivial problems, and the great opportunities of a mission to Mars in an interview. The customer magazine ATLAS by Gebrüder Weiss has been published since 2013 and appears biannually in German and English. It covers topics related to the vast world of logistics.
