TX Logistik AB launches train for LKW Walter in Sweden
29. January 2022WR RUS LLC, a Russian subsidiary of the WR Group, acquired the customs representative license in January 2022 in the territory of the Russian Federation. The company has undergone the necessary procedures and received the status of an official customs broker by the decision of the Russian Federal Customs Service.
(PresseBox; Düsseldorf) Suppliers and importers of products into the EAEU utilize the services of a customs broker when they want to efficiently and swiftly handle the customs procedure and all formalities for importing goods into the country. However, foreign and Russian entrepreneurs should be cautious when choosing a customs agent. In Russia, customs clearance can only be conducted by legal entities listed in a special state register of customs representatives. The WR Group’s subsidiary is registered under number 1435 in the official register of customs representatives.
What do the basic services of a customs broker include? Upon signing the contract, WR RUS LLC assumes the responsibilities of the cargo owner and full operational responsibility within the framework of customs clearance. Representatives of WR RUS submit the document package to the customs office and independently declare the imported vehicles and goods. The customs broker pays the customs duties and other customs costs. Additionally, WR RUS takes care of the transportation and storage of the goods after customs clearance is completed.
Fast processing of customs clearance
The client benefits from a quick processing of the customs clearance procedure while complying with the necessary regulations. However, that is not all. When collaborating with the WR Group, the client has the opportunity to receive a complete service package that includes not only the import of goods and their customs clearance but also the transportation from A to B as well as the issuance of necessary certificates for the imported products. The customs broker license is particularly important for deliveries to Russia under DDP terms (“Delivered Duty Paid”, Incoterms 2020), which the WR Group specializes in. This allows the company to deliver any goods, fully cleared of customs, to the end customer while assuming all risks.
This holistic approach without involving third parties enables the WR Group to plan and coordinate each project precisely, respond dynamically to changes, and provide the client with full transparency regarding the process and budget.
