Additionally, the Railport Borken, a central freight handling location with direct rail connections for goods from domestic and international sources, enhances the attractiveness of the site.
(Munich/Borken) In search of a suitable expansion area near the location in Schlüchtern, the logistics service provider was convinced by the property at Kraftwerk 6 in Borken. The size and facilities of the property, its location – just over 100 km from Schlüchtern and ideally connected via the A49 motorway – and, not least, the immediate availability, perfectly matched the search criteria. Furthermore, the access via eight loading docks as well as ground level and the spacious maneuvering area on the open space are ideal for the planned handling of textile logistics.
Central location with Railport
“Borken is inherently a good logistics location in Hesse due to its central location and direct motorway access. This attractiveness was further enhanced by the opening of a Railport at the end of 2021 and the resulting option for rail freight transport,” said Daniel Gerlach, Consultant Industrial & Logistics Letting at Logivest.
