catkin launches cOPERATOR platform for combined transport

The management of the numerous collaborative processes in Combined Transport (CT) is a complex task and can only be managed in the medium to long term based on digitalization. With cOPERATOR, operators and shipping companies now have a tool developed by Dortmund-based catkin GmbH at their disposal, through which the entire CT planning can be optimally organized.

(Dortmund) The all-in-one CT planning solution brings together all service partners, including railways, truckers, and terminals, in just one tool. Core functions of cOPERATOR include truck planning, finance and controlling, internal and external communication, fleet management, customer portal, and document management. Through the direct connection of cOPERATOR to the catkin ecosystem – a patented logistics platform for automated and networked order processing – relevant data is made available to all parties in real-time. Via the catkin SmartApp, mobile personnel can also send status updates regarding the order processing status.

Consistent Transparency

There is consistent transparency: pre- and post-runs, the respective appointment utilization, and much more can be tracked in real-time. When including subcontractors and booked slots, any delays communicated directly through the tracking and tracing of trucks can be immediately planned. At the same time, it is possible with cOPERATOR to evaluate the transports carried out from a commercial perspective.
