sennder appoints Ekaterini Kranioti as Vice President – Shippers

The digital freight forwarder sennder has announced the appointment of Ekaterini Kranioti as Vice President – Shippers. In her new role, she will support shippers in their digitalization efforts. Based in France, Ekaterini strengthens the company’s leadership team and will be responsible for the entire operational business area for shippers.

(Paris/Berlin) As a digital freight forwarder, sennder provides shippers with access to a connected fleet of thousands of trucks. Ekaterini will further advance the digitalization of the industry by expanding the platform and optimizing services for existing customers.

In close collaboration with sennder’s carrier team, Ekaterini will analyze sennder’s customer pool to offer increasingly tailored solutions to the individual needs of various shippers. This is particularly significant in light of the company’s strong growth, which is already represented by 8 branches across Europe, to adapt services to the local market conditions.

Ekaterini has over 30 years of work experience in the logistics industry, most recently serving as EUROMED Sales Director at GEFCO. There, she led a team of 120 employees and was responsible for the sales of industrial, automotive, and consumer goods in Western and Southern Europe. Prior to her 20-year tenure at GEFCO, Ekaterini held various positions at Kühne & Nagel, Nestlé, Martin Brower France, and Air France.
