Other new additions to the QUANTRON portfolio include the heavy truck QUANTRON QHD BEV 50-280 4×2 as a tractor unit based on the DAF CF Space Cab.
(Gersthofen) With the QUANTRON QARGO 4 EV, Quantron AG, a specialist in battery and fuel cell-powered zero-emission mobility, launches the second vehicle in the newly designed QUANTRON brand on the market. The fully electric transporter will be presented to a selected audience of investors, press, and customers at the Q-Days 2022 in Gersthofen/Augsburg. In addition, the company provides many more insights into its wide portfolio of emission-free commercial vehicles and offerings related to e-mobility.
Ideal for Last-Mile Delivery
The name QUANTRON QARGO 4 EV says it all: The light transporter from QUANTRON offers a battery-electric cargo solution, ideal for sustainable last-mile delivery, factory traffic, and municipalities. With its flexible wheelbase of a nimble 3.3 m and thus a very small turning radius, the compact vehicle is perfectly suited for urban traffic. The QARGO stands out not only for its modern QUANTRON design in line with the brand values “reliable,” “energetic,” and “brave.” The performance of the environmentally friendly transporter is also impressive: a range of up to 350 km and a payload of 2,300 kg – all without producing emissions or noise. The battery capacity is 81 kWh and can be fully recharged in 1.2 hours. Cobalt-free batteries from CATL, the world’s largest battery producer, are used.
Vehicle Modules Come from Asia
QUANTRON products are developed and produced in collaboration with global partners from the QUANTRON ecosystem. These include QEV Technologies and EV Dynamics. The vehicle modules are sourced from Asia and then adapted to European standards and individual customer requirements by the development team of QUANTRON and QEV Technologies.
Q-Heavy Tractor Unit as Another New Addition
Another new addition to the QUANTRON portfolio is the fully electric Q-Heavy Truck QUANTRON QHD BEV 50-280 as a 4×2 tractor unit based on the DAF CF Space Cab. The zero-emission vehicle impresses with a quiet and thus particularly pleasant driving experience, a range of up to 220 km, and a maximum motor power of 350 kW. The 280 kWh battery can be fully charged in 6.5 hours.

In addition, Quantron AG will present many more topics related to sustainable mobility at the Q-Days from April 26 to 28. The company has prepared its portfolio of FCEV & BEV vehicles, which will be presented live. Selected vehicles will also be available for demo and test drives. Furthermore, other areas of e-mobility, such as the retrofitment of new and used commercial vehicles, will be highlighted, where the diesel drivetrain is replaced by a QUANTRON BEV or FCEV drive.
Kick-Off of the H2 and Fuel Cell Offensive
The kick-off of the H2 and fuel cell offensive 2022 with partner Ballard Power and a number of other new BEV variants in the light and heavy truck sector is another highlight of the Q-Days.
With this, Quantron is advancing its vision of CO2 neutral mobility in the ecosystem for fully electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles and platform solutions, which are bundled as Quantron-as-a-Service.
