Krone hands over mobile event stage to the BGL
May 2, 2022 at 7:34 PMBTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH, together with Mayor Kalsperger, held the groundbreaking ceremony for a new office building with 2,200 m² in the Raubling district of Nicklheim on April 27, 2022. The new building will replace the rented office spaces in Rosenheim. The move is planned for mid-2023.
(Rosenheim/Raubling) BTK is investing around 6.5 million euros in the Nicklheim district. Right next to the logistics halls opened in 2014 and 2019, a silver-gray building with dark gray windows and green-framed corner glazing at the entrance is being constructed. It will replace the rented spaces in Rosenheim.
The building is designed for further growth with 130 workplaces. By June 2023, around 100 employees will move in. They come from the Rosenheim area and the Inn Valley, with one in five from Raubling and the surrounding area. The planning includes 40 parking spaces for bicycles, some of which will have charging stations for e-bikes.
At the heart of the U-shaped building, a “Work Café” promotes exchange and interaction. Staircases leading to a surrounding gallery open the area upwards. In summer, the Work Café extends to the terrace between the two office wings. In addition to ergonomically equipped offices, fitness, retreat, and multifunctional rooms are part of the employee-friendly concept.
Photovoltaics Ensure Self-Sufficiency in Electricity
The building is environmentally friendly. According to KFW Standard Efficiency Building 40 EE, it must cover more than 55% of its energy needs from renewable energy sources. With its own photovoltaic system, BTK is already climate-neutral in terms of electricity – including the supply for the eight new charging stations for electric vehicles.
The construction site was set up on March 1. The ground and foundation were prepared for the groundbreaking. The superstructure will follow by August. The facade and roof are to be completed by October. Then the interior work will begin. Goldbeck is the general contractor for the project. The interior design was conceived by the Rosenheim-based Zweiraumbüro.
Despite Home Office, Personal Exchange is Valued
BTK Managing Director Josef Heiß: “During the pandemic, we found that home office works very well. Nevertheless, we are committed to personal exchange in the long term. Proximity and dialogue are very important to us for the quality of our work and the dynamic development of the company.”
Olaf Kalsperger, Mayor of Raubling: “We all need logistics. Logistics is an industry with a future. That’s why the municipal council decided for BTK many years ago. We are pleased that the company will soon be fully with us. Raubling will gain future-proof and, above all, local jobs and training opportunities.”
