Logistics consulting – from analysis to successful implementation in corporate practice – as well as the connection of intelligent process design with innovative software solutions are the core competencies of ARBOR Management Consulting. 20 years ago, MMag. Wolfgang Minarik founded the company.
(Eisenstadt) Donation instead of anniversary celebration! “Due to the pandemic, we have decided to donate to a good cause instead of having a large anniversary celebration,” explains Wolfgang Minarik. The reasons for the generous donation to the Austrian Rainforest Association include limiting the destruction of rainforests, making a valuable contribution to the preservation of biodiversity, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. “We have contributed 20,000 m² to the ‘Rainforest of the Austrians’ in Costa Rica,” says Minarik. Thanks to the donation, the biological corridor COBIGA will be expanded, connecting the lowland rainforests of Golfo Dulce with the mountain rainforests.
20 years ago, the success story of ARBOR Management Consulting began. Today, Managing Director Wolfgang Minarik can look back on a multitude of successful projects throughout the German-speaking region. “Behind ARBOR is a team of dedicated logistics experts. Together, we were able to win renowned companies such as bauMax, Mobilkom (now A1), or Kotanyi as clients from the very beginning,” says Minarik.
Optimal Processes and Concepts for Logistics
The focus has been and continues to be on optimizing logistics processes and designing strategic logistics systems. In many cases, modern IT solutions come into play. Therefore, core competencies also include the selection and implementation of software solutions, such as for automatic scheduling, production planning, or warehouse management systems. ARBOR takes on project management and develops solutions for efficient and rapid implementation.
Strategically Important Partnerships
The interplay of innovative concepts and practical experience from the corporate world is what makes the consulting company’s success. Over the years, strategically important partnerships have been established, and the range of services has been continuously expanded. ARBOR has a long-standing partnership with the Dortmund software company Remira. As an exclusive sales and implementation partner, ARBOR manages software implementations and rollouts of the inventory management software LOGOMATE. The software is used by numerous Austrian retail companies for accurate sales forecasts, scheduling, and inventory optimization.
The cooperation with ANZINGER Logistik has also been crowned with success. Know-how and expertise in logistics consulting and warehouse planning create synergies and form the basis for designing efficient warehouse and logistics solutions. The planning assignment for the e-commerce warehouse of the XXXLutz Group near Erfurt, Germany, is one of the milestones in the successful collaboration between the two companies.
New Projects in the Pipeline
The logistics concept for a hospital in Northern Germany, the introduction of the inventory management software LOGOMATE for a large Austrian trading company with a nationwide branch network, or the logistical realignment of an industry-leading company – are just a few of the exciting projects for the ARBOR consultants this year.
