The Board of Directors of Kühne + Nagel International AG has appointed Dr. Hansjörg Rodi to its management board effective August 1, 2022. Hansjörg Rodi will take over responsibility for the land transport division, succeeding Stefan Paul, who will become the new Chief Executive Officer of the Kühne+Nagel Group at the same time.
(Schindellegi) Hansjörg Rodi, born in 1966, has been with Kühne+Nagel in leadership roles since 2016, most recently as the head of the Europe region with nearly 44,000 employees. He has been active in the logistics industry for over 25 years in various leadership positions. Rodi studied economics and earned his doctorate at the University of Münster.
With CHF 3.7 billion in net revenue in 2021 and around 9,700 employees, the Kühne+Nagel land transport division is one of the world’s leading providers. Customers of Kühne+Nagel are offered maximum flexibility and service quality for their general cargo, full truckload (FTL), or less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. In 2021, the division handled 24.4 million shipments.
Jens Drewes Takes Over the Europe Region
As the successor to Hansjörg Rodi in the Europe region, Jens Drewes (born in 1969) has been appointed. Jens Drewes has been in leadership roles at Kühne+Nagel in Asia since 1997, and since 2013 has been responsible for the Asia-Pacific region.
