Cargo Cooperation CTL Optimizes Transport to France

June 2022P3 Logistic Parks, developer and long-term owner of logistics properties in Europe, plans around 140,000 square meters of logistics space in the freight transport center (GVZ) JadeWeserPort in Wilhelmshaven, Germany’s only deep-water port. On June 2, the leasehold agreement for the 21-hectare site in the center of the GVZ was signed with Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH & Co. KG.
(PresseBox; Frankfurt/Wilhelmshaven) P3 Logistic Parks plans the speculative construction of three logistics halls in the Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort with a total hall area of over 122,000 square meters. Including nearly 11,000 square meters of mezzanine and 7,000 square meters of office space, this results in a total of around 140,000 square meters of rental space. The project is expected to be completed in stages by early 2025. P3 was supported by CBRE Germany in the mediation of the property.
A special feature of the project is that one of the halls can accommodate customs goods that require special structural conditions for protection. To facilitate the loading of bulky freight, P3 is also installing larger doors. Additionally, the developer will equip all roofs with photovoltaic systems. The halls will have a clear height of 12 meters, 17 ground-level doors, and 111 loading bridges.

Very Good Transport Connections
JadeWeserPort has very good transport connections. There is a connection to the A29 in close proximity. With Hapag-Lloyd’s entry as a partner at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven, the importance of the port in international freight traffic has further increased.
