June 2022SKR Beteiligungs AG in Lucerne, Switzerland is growing: Rico Back, Managing Partner of SKR, brings on board experienced executives as partners with Christian Herrlich (Digital Transformation and IT) and Dr. Erik Lüders (Finance). SKR is particularly focusing on the logistics, technology, and finance sectors and now consists of four partners.
(Lucerne) SKR Beteiligungs AG, based in Lucerne, was founded in 2020 by Rico Back and specializes in financial investments as well as consulting for investors, boards, and executives. In addition to Mel Tomlin, SKR has now welcomed two more experienced and well-known executives as partners.
Consulting area of Digitalization
Christian Herrlich will significantly advance the consulting areas of digital transformation as well as IT & digitalization as a partner of SKR. SKR’s clients benefit from his expertise and extensive experience. As an executive, Christian Herrlich has successfully led and implemented numerous digital transformations and large-scale technology programs for renowned corporations and companies. Over the past 25 years, Christian Herrlich has worked, among others, as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Royal Mail Group (RMG), as CIO of the parcel service GLS, and as a member of the divisional board and CIO of DHL PAKET Germany.
Focus on Finance and Risk Management
Dr. Erik Lüders has been a partner at SKR since June 1. He has 20 years of experience in the finance sector and will further develop finance and risk management at SKR with his expertise. In his professional career – including as a partner at McKinsey, EY Ernst & Young, and Deloitte – he has advised leading financial institutions, technology, and logistics companies worldwide and has supported firms in growth, consolidation, and crisis phases. Another focus of his work is innovation management. Dr. Lüders is a seasoned analyst and strategist – his knowledge now benefits SKR’s clients.
Global Orientation
SKR is now supported by four partners: Rico Back, Christian Herrlich, Dr. Erik Lüders, and Mel Tomlin. Together with their Associate Advisors, they lead specialized teams in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. “This allows us to offer investors, boards, and executives independent and confidential advice in internationally important markets,” says Rico Back. “This knowledge is interesting for many industries, especially for the logistics, technology, and finance sectors.
