QUANTRON with Strong Growth in the First Half of 2022
27. July 2022Since the beginning of July, the new delivery subsidiary of Austrian Post, Express One Slovenia, has commenced operations in Slovenia. The newly established logistics company starts with two logistics centers in Maribor and Ljubljana, where the headquarters is also located. In addition to these locations, several delivery bases ensure comprehensive delivery throughout Slovenia.
(Wien/Ljubljana) The logistics center of Austrian Post in Kalsdorf, Styria, will also play a central role in the distribution of import and export packages.
“Due to our high quality, we were encouraged by international customers to offer our services in the Slovenian market as well. Already today, we have significant export volumes to Slovenia, and we also hold a strong market position in the neighboring countries of Austria, Croatia, and Hungary. Therefore, establishing our own delivery service in Slovenia was the next logical step for us,” explains DI Peter Umundum, Managing Director for Parcel & Logistics, Austrian Post AG.

Express One Slovenia targets B2B and B2C customers in times of growing online commerce.
