In this role, the 56-year-old will take over the operational management of the logistics locations and report to the neska management.
(Köln) “We are driving the structural change within HGK Logistics and Intermodal and are pleased to be able to strategically strengthen our team with Oliver Lehmann. As an experienced logistics manager, he brings the necessary expertise in the field of contract and transport logistics. I am confident that Mr. Lehmann will provide the right impulses for the further development of our companies,” explains Markus Krämer, Chairman of the neska management.
Oliver Lehmann is a trained business economist and has many years of leadership experience with renowned companies in the consumer goods, food, and chemical industries. The newly created position of Head of Logistics will create numerous synergy effects. Activities and developments in the neska area of Logistics will now be centrally bundled. Key areas of action include the expansion of digital logistics solutions to enhance competitiveness and strengthen neska’s overall market position.
As part of the reorganization, Oliver Lehmann will also serve as managing director of the logistics service-oriented neska companies “uct Umschlag Container Terminal GmbH” and “Pohl & Co. GmbH,” which were previously led by neska managing director Dr. Jan Zeese. He will also take over the management of “Duisburg Bulk Terminal GmbH.” At the same time, Thomas Schymetzko, as site manager of “Duisburg Bulk Terminal GmbH,” is also responsible for the neska branch in Duisburg.
Dr. Jan Zeese will take on the role of Chief Administrative Officer and will immediately assume responsibilities that particularly affect overarching processes and procedures within the organization. This includes the establishment and management of human resources, the definition and realization of process standards and guidelines, as well as the further development of digitization and IT management.
