28. August 2022After a two-year interruption, Acito Logistics GmbH was finally able to hold the traditional summer party for its employees again. What could be more fitting than to host it as the sponsor and official logistics partner of the LGS 2022 State Garden Show in Neuenburg, on the beautiful garden show grounds? During the summer party, deserving and long-serving employees were also honored.
(Weil am Rhein) In today’s fast-paced world, long-serving employees are not a given but something special. Therefore, a 10-year company loyalty at Acito Logistics GmbH is an important and joyful occasion, which the management was able to recognize for ten employees. Due to COVID, the company had to forgo honoring the jubilarians during an employee celebration in the past two years. During the annual celebration on the grounds of the State Garden Show Neuenburg, the management took the opportunity to thank the colleagues for their loyalty to the company and their tireless commitment. These include Rudolf Schmidt, Walter Schneider, Stefan Kurz, Oliver Schleuß, Anita Sautter, Ralf Albrecht, Sarah Saller, Marcos Azevedo, Oliver Schöllhorn, Patric Galley.
With an ever-growing team, now 85 employees at the two locations in Weil am Rhein and Efringen-Kirchen, and increasing demands on the company and the business environment, tasks must be entrusted to responsible hands. Thus, the promotion of Michael Wagner to authorized signatory was a logical consequence of his actions and conduct for Acito Logistics. Michael Wagner has been with Acito Logistics since 2014 and, due to his extensive professional experience, has already worked in various departments within the company. With his appointment as authorized signatory, he continues his professional career. He is responsible for the accounting/finance department and currently supervises 14 trainees as the training manager. The promotion of young talent is a matter close to his heart, and he has also been working as a part-time teacher at the commercial school in Lörrach for years, as well as serving on the examination board of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee for more than a decade. As a co-author of the collection of texts on freight forwarding, transport, and logistics law, he has also been involved in inter-company training.
On July 22, 2022, Alexander Polnau successfully completed his training as a merchant for freight forwarding and logistics services with excellent results before the IHK Schopfheim Chamber of Industry and Commerce. For his outstanding performance, he was also honored by the Freight Forwarders Association VSL Baden-Württemberg, among others. After successfully completing his training, Alexander Polnau aims to pursue his higher education qualification full-time. The entire Acito team congratulates him warmly and wishes him much success in his new academic challenge.
On September 1, 2022, five more trainees will start their training at Acito.
For the training year 2023, the logistics company will again offer training positions in the areas of skilled workers for warehouse logistics, office management, and merchants for freight forwarding and logistics services. More information and application options can be found on the company homepage: www.acito-logistics.eu/jobs/ausbildung
