Rhenus Air & Ocean is the new “Team Belgium Official Supplier”. The logistics service provider will support the Belgian Olympic team as the official logistics partner with all transport and logistics tasks on the way to the next Summer Olympics in Paris 2024. The Belgian Olympic team requires tailored transport solutions.
As part of the sponsorship, Rhenus Air & Ocean will handle the transport of sports equipment – from bicycles to high jump poles to sailing catamarans – for the Belgian Olympic team. By road, air, and sea freight, the materials will be transported door-to-door to the various competitions. Beyond the Olympic Games, Rhenus is also responsible for transport and return logistics for other events, including the World Games and the Youth Games.
The main task is to deliver all sports equipment in perfect condition to the right place at the right time. “The Belgian Olympic team requires tailored transport solutions that meet the complex and time-critical nature of the Olympic competitions and training camps. Smooth logistics are of utmost importance for the preparation and well-being of our athletes and delegation members. We are confident that the personal contact and experience of Rhenus Logistics will contribute to the further development and success of ‘Team Belgium’,” said Cédric Van Branteghem, CEO of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee.
