Frozen and Fresh Food Industry Demands Energy Subsidies
21. September 2022Skilled labor shortages and personnel bottlenecks remain pressing issues in the mobility sectors. However, especially in times of crisis, only companies that can rely on a qualified and motivated workforce will remain market- and future-oriented. In addition to attracting new employees, securing long-term staff is becoming increasingly important.
(Berlin) In this assessment, both the associations united in the pension scheme of the transport industry and the participating insurers agree. Despite the current challenges, the topic of personnel is at the top of the priority list for the long-term strategic planning of companies. During the board meeting of the VVW on September 14, Dierk Hochgesang (SVG) was re-elected as the new chairman and Markus Suchert (DSLV) as the deputy chairman.
Argument for Employee Recruitment
With the joint Mobility Pension, the leading transport associations united in the pension scheme of the transport industry (VVW) promote employee retention and recruitment in companies in freight forwarding and logistics, goods transport, waste disposal, and passenger transport. The wide range of pension solutions that contribute to increasing employer attractiveness includes direct insurance, pension commitments, and support funds for retirement provision as a supplement to the statutory pension insurance, as well as time value accounts, accident insurance, and company health insurance from the portfolios of the insurance partners Allianz and R+V Versicherung. Through group insurance contracts, employees in the mobility sectors receive particularly attractive conditions.
