22. September 2022The Alfred Schuon GmbH has won the Grand Prize of Medium-Sized Businesses 2022 in the competitive region of Baden-Württemberg. As part of the competition – this year under the motto “To New Horizons” – the Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung has been awarding medium-sized companies since 1994. Theo Schuon accepted the award in Würzburg with his wife Doris.
(Haiterbach) The transport and logistics service provider from Haiterbach prevailed against more than 4,500 competitors and received the title of “Award Winner” as the highest level of distinction alongside two other companies in the competitive region of Baden-Württemberg. Managing Director Theo Schuon and his wife Doris accepted the coveted award last Saturday at the gala at the Maritim Hotel in Würzburg.
“The Grand Prize of Medium-Sized Businesses stands for both excellent economic performance and social responsibility. We are very honored to have received one of the most coveted business awards in Germany,” says Theo Schuon, Managing Director of Alfred Schuon GmbH. The Haiterbach forwarding company had already made it to the finalists’ circle the previous year. Now, Schuon was named an award winner as one of three companies in the competitive region of Baden-Württemberg during the 28th competition. “We are very proud to hold the award statue in our hands. It confirms once again that we, as a transport and logistics company, give our best and are committed to society,” Schuon is pleased to say.
Climate-Neutral Transport Thanks to Solar Energy
Schuon impressed with its Green Logistics strategy, which takes into account economic and ecological responsibility by enabling nearly climate-neutral transport thanks to solar energy. The Haiterbach company also scored points in terms of personnel promotion and development with the Schuon Leadership Academy, the tailored 2plus2 training, and the in-house Professional Training Center.
For the award, Schuon was nominated by its long-standing financial partner, Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich AG (RLBOÖ). Andreas Feinauer, corporate customer advisor at the branch office in Southern Germany in Stuttgart, congratulated: “The Schuon company is an important part of the Baden-Württemberg economy. The Haiterbach family business has more than proven this with this award.”
