It is not only responsible for the delivery of goods but also offers customs clearance services or assembly services for furniture stores, for example. For these services, the Post needs specialists and know-how, among other things, for planning the various deployments. To improve in this area, the Post has fully acquired the IT company Eoscop as of October 4, 2022. Eoscop develops specific digital applications that are necessary for modern logistics. The company employs 20 staff members in Balsthal (SO), who will be retained.
Software for Transport
Software for customs clearance processing, tools for organizing international transports, or for delivering spare parts to technology companies: Behind every service that the Post offers its business customers is a powerful planning process. In recent years, Eoscop has developed numerous and very specific applications with and for the Post’s goods logistics.
The Post as the Largest Customer
