Lode Freight Forwarding in Waldkraiburg is now Gebrüder Weiss

From Lode Freight Forwarding, after a transition period under GW Lode, Gebrüder Weiss Waldkraiburg is now officially established. The rebranding process was completed on November 1st. A year ago, the international transport and logistics company took over the freight forwarding company in Upper Bavaria and integrated it into its own network. All 60 employees have transitioned under the roof of Gebrüder Weiss.

(Lauterach/Waldkraiburg) The basis for the acquisition is the network expansion of Gebrüder Weiss in southern Germany. The location in Waldkraiburg, specialized in land transport, distribution, and warehousing, is located 70 kilometers east of Munich and fits perfectly into the network of Gebrüder Weiss.

“With the integration, we are consolidating our land transport network in Bavaria and can serve the markets in Germany, Austria, as well as Central and Southeastern Europe even more efficiently,” says Werner Dettenthaler, Regional Manager Land Transport Germany. “We are pleased that the rebranding process has now been successfully completed after the transition phase.”

Strong Network in Eastern Bavaria

The Waldkraiburg location complements the existing land transport branches in Aldingen, Esslingen, Lindau, Memmingen, Nuremberg, Passau, and Straubing. Specifically, through the close connection of the locations Passau, Straubing, and Waldkraiburg, a strong network has been established in Eastern Bavaria. Customers benefit from the acquisition with a significantly larger range of services, as Gebrüder Weiss offers national and international transport services in land transport, air and sea freight, as well as logistics solutions, especially for the automotive and high-tech industries.
