New Managing Director at TX Logistik Transalpine GmbH

Dejan Pejic has taken over the management of TX Logistik Transalpine GmbH, the Austrian subsidiary of the German TX Logistik AG. The 43-year-old succeeds Gero Sieberger, who will now focus on his role as Director Asset Management & Claims Management at TX Logistik.

(Troisdorf/Schwechat) Dejan Pejic brings several years of experience in rail freight transport, which he gained in various railway logistics companies. The trained locomotive driver and graduate engineer with a focus on railway technology and mobility was previously employed as Operations Manager and Plant Manager at the then TX Logistik Austria GmbH from April 2017 to October 2018. He then moved to Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer.

In 2020, TX Logistik Transalpine merged the activities and resources of TX Austria and TX Italia. The company, based in Schwechat near Vienna, reflects the strategic importance of the Austrian-Italian Alpine axes in TX’s network. Dejan Pejic is expected to strengthen rail freight transport within Austria and Italy, expand existing connections, develop new routes, and promote the internationalization of Mercitalia Logistics (Gruppo FS Italiane), to which TX Logistik belongs.

The management of TX Logistik Transalpine is completed by Johann Eder, who has been with the company since 2015.
