8. March 2023In Wietzendorf, in the triangle between Hamburg, Hanover, and Bremen, Logivest has brokered a warehouse space of approximately 17,000 square meters to the global logistics company A.P. Moller – Maersk.
(Munich/Hamburg) Maersk was looking for an interim central warehouse for an internationally operating sports goods manufacturer. The search criteria regarding size, height, location, and timeline posed a challenge even for the experienced logistics real estate consultant. “Bremen is a sought-after logistics location due to its good connections by rail, road, and sea. The demand far exceeds the increasingly scarce spaces. Even in the surrounding area, large-scale projects like this logistics new building in Wietzendorf are rather rare,” said Marvin Hesse, Head of Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest in Hamburg.
The logistics property, which was built in 2022 to the latest standards, features a ceiling height of twelve meters, partial shelving, and a block storage area. Access is provided via several ramps. Located directly on Federal Highway 3 and with immediate access to the A7 motorway, the Hanseatic city of Bremen and the freight transport center can be reached in less than an hour’s drive.
The occupancy of the spaces has already taken place, as requested by Maersk.
