Re-establishment of NOSTA Solutions under the Leadership of Jan Steinacker

The performance division NOSTA Solutions has been operating as an independent GmbH under the umbrella of the NOSTA Group since January of this year. In the new company, COO (Chief Operating Officer) Jan Steinacker consolidates the areas of Supply Chain Consulting and New Business. The goal of the spin-off is to accompany companies in their logistical challenges through professional consulting, combined with innovative solutions as a sparring partner. By transferring the Solutions division into an independent company, NOSTA is responding to the growing demand for individual consulting services as well as its own growth, diversification, and innovation plans.

(Osnabrück) “In the past two years, the logistics world has been turbulent and challenging – especially for industrial companies. We have clearly felt the desire for more security and professional consulting among our existing customers and throughout the industry. Our response to this is NOSTA Solutions GmbH, with which we will offer ourselves as a sparring partner and develop new solutions,” says Nicolas Gallenkamp, CEO of NOSTA Holding GmbH.

Currently, the Solutions GmbH is primarily focused on building up its operations. With the aim of offering customer-oriented and individual consulting approaches, Jan Steinacker is working with a small team on the further development of the product “Supply Chain Consulting,” generating innovative methods, and constantly expanding the partner network. He can rely on the expert team of the NOSTA Group for customer-specific inquiries. His department designs and tests, among other things, IT-driven tools to simplify the process recording for customers, markets the new consulting services, and engages in recruiting to quickly drive the growth of the unit and to be able to operate internationally in the future.

A new challenge for the 32-year-old COO of NOSTA Solutions GmbH: “I have been with NOSTA since 2010. Accordingly, I trust in our services and live for the trends and innovations of the logistics industry. The emotional added value that I experience through NOSTA, I want to create for the customers of Solutions as well.” Beyond the specific service, Steinacker wants to convey not only professionalism but also trust and empathy to both his employees and the customers of the company. “This is what a partnership at eye level thrives on,” says Steinacker.

The Osnabrück native has continuously developed within the NOSTA Group over the years: He started with a dual business administration degree focusing on logistics and training as a merchant for freight forwarding and logistics services. Subsequently, he played a key role in establishing the NOSTA location at the German-Polish border, worked in various areas of sales as well as in project management. In 2018, he was responsible for the expansion into the USA, including the establishment of a branch in the Chicago metropolitan area. Most recently, the COO worked as a Key Account Manager in the international and multimodal support of major customers.
