July 2023The globally active port and logistics company PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA), headquartered in Singapore, has signed contracts to acquire a 22 percent minority stake in Duisburg Gateway Terminal GmbH (DGT). The agreements made are still subject to the approval of the relevant competition and regulatory authorities.
(Duisburg) Upon execution of the contracts, the international shareholder group will be complete with Hupac, HTS, duisport, and PSA. The DGT will create the largest and first 100 percent climate-neutral container terminal in the European hinterland at the Port of Duisburg.

This network expansion strengthens both the competitive diversity and further diversification of the Port of Duisburg. Largest Container Terminal in the European Hinterland
The trimodal DGT is still under construction as planned. It is considered a model project for the future of logistics and will, upon completion, cover an area of 235,000 square meters, making it the largest container terminal in the European hinterland. The completion of the first construction phase is expected in the first quarter of 2024.
