10. August 2023Zipmend Express will rely on the transport tenders through the transport platform of Trans.eu for an upcoming quality initiative. Representatives from zipmend and Trans.eu have signed a corresponding cooperation agreement for the integration of Trans.eu’s private freight exchange.
Hamburg/Berlin) For the courier service from the Hanseatic city, the cooperation is an important step to better position freight shipping within its own portfolio while ensuring quality in its own network. “With zipmend Express, we are connecting a company with our platform that has long recognized the need for digital solutions in the transport market. We are convinced that our solution will create real added value for zipmend, its customers, and its partners,” says Bijan Hakami, responsible Business Development Manager at Trans.eu.
Zipmend will primarily rely on Trans.eu’s private freight exchange. This product supports the Hamburg-based company in building its own transport community on one of the largest digital marketplaces for transport services in Europe. Zipmend not only gains the opportunity to manage its own carrier network digitally within a private and exclusive environment but also to allocate transports more quickly and prioritize carriers with high-quality standards. Partner companies that perform good and reliable work can be included in the selected circle of partners in the private freight exchange and rewarded with preferred order allocation. For the digital courier service, this also represents a promising opportunity to prevent the resale of loads to third parties.
Allocation process simplified and shortened
The carriers, in turn, are only notified of relevant transport requests in the private freight exchange and can submit their offers more targeted. Thanks to API integration with the Trans.eu platform, zipmend can manage the collaboration with partner companies directly from its own TMS, thereby simplifying and shortening the allocation process for all parties involved.
