TRANSAC Logistics GmbH Has Big Plans Ahead
15. August 2023The Swiss Venture Club (SVC) will award the Prix SVC Nordschweiz for the eleventh time on November 14, 2023. From around 100 companies in the region, the seventeen-member expert jury led by Bernhard B. Fischer has selected the following five finalist companies, including two logistics and one packaging company: Bertschi AG, INFORS HAT, SCHELLING AG, Stöcklin Logistik AG, and the Wyniger Group.
(Basel) The organizer and initiator of the Prix SVC awards is the Swiss Venture Club, an independent association that promotes and supports SMEs in Switzerland. With the Prix SVC Nordschweiz, it honors exemplary SMEs that impress with their innovative products and services, their corporate culture, the quality of their employees and management, as well as a sustainable track record. A strong local presence is a prerequisite for nomination by the jury.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Congress Center Basel. 1,200 guests from business, science, politics, and culture are expected. The ceremony will be hosted by moderator Dani von Wattenwyl.
The Finalists 2023:
Bertschi AG
Bertschi AG is a globally active logistics service provider specializing in liquid and bulk products for the chemical industry. As a pioneer in combined rail freight transport across the Alps, the family-owned company is a leader in sustainability and safety in goods transport. Each year, over 200 million truck kilometers are eliminated as Bertschi, as the European market leader in intermodal chemical transport, actively shifts traffic from roads to rail and waterways. The Bertschi Group, headquartered in Dürrenäsch, employs 3,200 people at 74 locations in 38 countries worldwide.
Stöcklin Logistik AG
The Stöcklin Group, based in Laufen, has been a competent partner for innovative and customized logistics solutions worldwide since 1934. As an internationally experienced system integrator, Stöcklin supports its customers from planning and project development to the delivery of turnkey complete systems in the field of warehouse logistics and automated warehouse management. The goal of Stöcklin Logistik AG is to store products as space-efficiently as possible, manage them reliably, and promote and commission them in the fastest way with minimal personnel effort. Approximately 500 employees are active for Stöcklin globally.
SCHELLING AG
SCHELLING AG is a family-owned company with more than 145 years of tradition. As a manufacturer of high-quality packaging and displays made from corrugated cardboard and solid board, as well as print products, packaging inserts, bags, and labels, the company offers everything from a single source. As a pioneer in the industry, SCHELLING develops packaging solutions from natural raw materials that set new standards. Examples include 100% microplastic-free sachets and biodegradable bags. The traditional company, headquartered in Rupperswil, has five locations in Switzerland and Germany with a total of 600 employees and sells its packaging and print solutions internationally.

INFORS HT, based in Bottmingen, has been developing and producing high-tech solutions for biotechnology for over 58 years.
The Wyniger Group, which originated from the hospitality and cultural house “Der Teufelhof Basel,” is a family-owned company based in the Basel region with a focus on gastronomy and hospitality.
About the Prix SVC Nordschweiz
The organizer and initiator of the Prix SVC is the Swiss Venture Club (SVC), an independent, non-profit-oriented association of entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs aimed at supporting and promoting SMEs as the driving force of the Swiss economy and contributing to the creation and preservation of jobs in Switzerland. The award ceremonies, as the most public-facing activity of the SVC, have developed into well-known events across Switzerland, now held in eight economic regions and every two years. The SVC is supported by the premium gold partner Credit Suisse, gold partners Emil Frey, IWB, Mazars, die Mobiliar, and Swisscom, as well as numerous other sponsors.
The Prix SVC Nordschweiz has been awarded since 2005, and in 2023 it will be held for the eleventh time. The OK president and SVC regional manager is Bernhard B. Together with a large network of sponsors and partners, the SVC actively supports SMEs in Northwestern Switzerland with this initiative.
