ORTEN Vehicle Construction Presents Numerous Innovations at NUFAM

ORTEN Fahrzeugbau GmbH, headquartered in Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle and with a branch in Rothnaußlitz/Saxony, once again demonstrates its expertise as a traditional yet forward-looking specialist in vehicle superstructures at this year’s NUFAM in Karlsruhe (September 21 – 24).

(Bernkastel-Kues) The focus at NUFAM is on vehicle concepts for the beverage, automotive, waste disposal, and transport logistics sectors, which make the flow of goods more efficient and the handling of cargo safer and more ergonomic. The variety of customized superstructures – from the Kettliner to the SafeServer, and from the Citylifter to the Sideliner – is a testament to professionalism and profound knowledge of logistics needs.

Additionally, representatives from the independent start-up company ORTEN Electric-Trucks, based in Wittlich-Wengerohr, will also be present at the commercial vehicle fair to report on the latest developments in the conversion from combustion to electric drives.

Proven Vehicle Technology

Visitors to the fair can inform themselves about the innovations and special features of the continuously developed superstructure concepts at the main booth A230 in Hall 2 and in the outdoor area. The priorities of the superstructure specialist remain constructive and ergonomic solutions for time-saving and safe handling of technology, as well as increasing load volume through lightweight construction.

The superstructure technology will be demonstrated and explained using the exhibited fully electric 18-ton truck from Renault. The E-TECH D WIDE 4X2 is equipped with an ORTEN SafeServer beverage superstructure and a BÄR “Softlock” loading ramp. The Renault E-TECH can be booked for test drives and offers an excellent entry point for any company looking to embark on the path to decarbonized beverage logistics.

Another exhibit from the vehicle construction sector is the ORTEN special swing wall superstructure in roof-mounted design of the type Kettliner “light”. The lightweight construction with robust precision mechanics is built on the chassis MB Actros 1836 L 4×2. Incidentally, the vehicle will be displayed and offered for sale at the Industry Information Center (BIC) of Daimler AG in Wörth after NUFAM.

Conversion to Electric Drive Continues Dynamically

Furthermore, the ORTEN E 46 City Cooler will also be on display at NUFAM. This fully electric refrigerated vehicle is suitable for quiet and environmentally friendly deliveries to urban markets, particularly in the food sector. This electric vehicle is also immediately available and offered for rent and test drives.

With the slogan “Feel the change … and make the world a little bit better,” the ORTEN team addresses all those logistics providers and municipal service providers seeking solutions to make their fleets economical and climate-friendly.
