Lufthansa Cargo launches td.Zoom for fastest air freight

With the introduction of td.Zoom, Lufthansa Cargo offers a new speed starting November 1st of this year. In addition to td.Pro and td.Flash, this marks the third speed for the most time-critical freight. With td.Zoom, customers can choose the fastest service for their urgent shipments. This includes the shortest processing times in export, transit, and import, as well as dedicated handling processes without weight or size restrictions.

(Frankfurt/Main) The special handling processes at the Lufthansa Cargo hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna enable the shortest transports with ramp monitoring during aircraft loading and unloading, dedicated ramp transfer from the warehouse to the aircraft and vice versa, as well as direct transshipment in transit from aircraft to aircraft. Part of the offering is also a personal 24/7 td.Zoom Customer Service that proactively monitors and controls the shipment at any time and intervenes immediately in case of any irregularities.

To give a concrete example: Your shipment from Shanghai via Frankfurt to Zurich normally takes 45 hours with td.Pro, 35 hours with td.Flash, and soon only 23 hours with td.Zoom.”

td.Zoom is available for a variety of goods that can be booked with Lufthansa Cargo products General Cargo, Dangerous Goods, and Emergency. Additionally, customers have the option to book add-on services such as Sustainable Choice at every transport speed, thus reducing the CO₂ emissions of their shipments.
