Groundbreaking for New TrailerPort in Alberthafen Dresden
7. November 2023The Berlin-based logistics consultancy Green Logistics Enabler (GLE) has been a new partner of the Logistics Competence Center (LKZ) Prien since September. At the LBT Autumn Conference in mid-October 2023 in Munich, GLE owner Bruno Lukas and LKZ managing director Dr. Petra Seebauer announced the collaboration focusing on Bavaria and the cross-border Alpine region. The partners support transport companies, freight forwarders, and shippers with their own truck fleets, as well as municipalities, in a technology-open and manufacturer-neutral manner in the gradual transition to a climate-neutral fleet.
(Prien/Berlin) LKZ Prien GmbH and Green Logistics Enabler are pooling their expertise in advising clients from the transport industry and the shipping industry, as well as municipalities and institutions with their own truck fleets. The focus is on the inventory and needs analysis of truck fleets, including a holistic view of logistics processes and tank/charging infrastructure. Together with the respective client, the partners then create a sustainable fleet concept and support the organizational adjustment of logistics processes. Upon request, the project team also organizes test placements with electric trucks or trucks with other alternative drives.
“We support our clients comprehensively – from fleet analysis and conception to the testing phase and gradual implementation,” explains LKZ managing director Dr. Petra Seebauer. “In doing so, we utilize our synergies very specifically.” The two partners contribute their expertise and thematic focuses in such a way that the client receives a “360-degree package” from a single source: The individual and tailored consulting packages of LKZ Prien GmbH range from the analysis and optimization of logistics processes, strategy consulting and development, as well as funding consulting to fleet consulting. GLE brings its many years of expertise in fleet management and commercial vehicle technology. “With our powerful network, consisting of vehicle manufacturers, infrastructure providers, planning offices, and installation companies, we also support the complete implementation of a climate-neutral fleet. We work in a manufacturer-neutral and technology-open manner,” emphasizes Bruno Lukas, GLE founder and owner.
Adapting Technology to the Application Case
The range extends from electric and hydrogen drives to alternative fuels such as bio-gas and HVO. The technology implemented is the one that fits the respective application case of the client and is economically feasible. Workshops, market reports, and training sessions round off the joint offering from LKZ and GLE.
