Solutions and teams deserving of an award are sought. The award ceremony will take place at LogiMAT 2024 in Stuttgart.
(Augsburg) Whether transport, storage, or supply chain – startups are developing innovative and competitive solutions along the entire supply chain. For the Logistics Changers competition, participating companies describe their business model in an online application form. They also introduce their team in a three-minute video.
The competition is aimed at legally independent startups from all over Germany that are no older than five years and rely on external capital. Their business model must be scalable, have a connection to logistics, and be characterized by an innovative idea.
The application deadline is January 15, 2024. A jury of industry experts from practice and academia will make the selection. By the end of February, they will announce five companies for the final round at LogiMAT. The evaluation grid was developed in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Michael Krupp from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
The award ceremony will take place on March 20, 2024, at LogiMAT in Stuttgart and is supported by the Munich Huss Verlag and the trade fair organizer Euroexpo. The professional audience will decide who wins. The first place winner will receive logo presence at the LCS joint booth in 2025, the second place winner will receive sales mentoring from Neolog GmbH, and the third place winner will receive a subscription to Logistra / Logistik heute from Huss Verlag. Additionally, all three winners will have the opportunity to present their solutions on April 10, 2024, at the Ulm Logistics Day.
Questioning Processes Without Blindness
“Startups question processes without the blindness of years of experience. With the new competition, we want to make unusual ways of thinking and innovative solutions visible. Digitalization needs disruption,” emphasizes Julia Boppert as cluster chair. Together with LCS managing director Ingrid Eibner, she initiated the competition.
