TX Logistik expands its services between Lübeck and Italy
23. January 2024The sensor technology company ASPION presents its new real-time data logger L-Track. Supply chain issues keep the global economy on its toes – and there is still no end in sight. This is yet another reason for shippers to seriously engage with the topics of transport monitoring and process safety.
(Karlsruhe) “The demand for professional, digital solutions for shock and location monitoring is greater than ever in the industrial goods sector,” says Martina Wöhr, Managing Director of ASPION GmbH. “In particular, there is a strong upward trend in the demand for solutions for real-time monitoring of transported goods.” With the ASPION L-Track, ASPION introduces a new real-time data logger as an end-to-end solution that ensures global transport monitoring of valuable investments. This marks the first time that the specialist for data loggers for shock monitoring expands its product portfolio to include a 360-degree live tracking system “Made and Hosted in Germany.”
Flexible Complete Solution for Full Transparency
The new ASPION L-Track can be used flexibly and is particularly suitable for monitoring high-quality and sensitive investment goods in global, multimodal transport. Shippers from the machinery and plant engineering, energy technology, and numerous other industries can track the current location and condition of their valuable equipment in real-time and will be alerted to extraordinary events. With the complete solution of smart sensors and connected IoT platform, supply chain processes can be optimized, damage can be averted through proactive intervention, and unnecessary costs can be avoided. The ASPION L-Track also meets high industrial requirements for monitoring load carriers, rotating container management, and other applications in the field of intralogistics.
Powerful Sensors with GPS Tracking – Live and Worldwide
Like all ASPION data loggers, the new ASPION L-Track enables detailed and meaningful shock detection in milliseconds and provides conclusive evidence in the event of damage due to improper handling. Global location determination in over 140 countries is done cellularly via mobile networks or with meter-level accuracy via GPS. Additional sensor values such as temperature, humidity, tilt, and light are visualized in the user-friendly ASPION Cloud. “The data logged with location and timestamp allows for transparent tracking of where and how damage occurred,” says Wöhr. The robust housing, the size of a glasses case, is suitable for long-term application scenarios in harsh weather conditions. The energy-optimized operation and replaceable standard batteries ensure sustainable and resource-saving long-term use.
