Liebherr Delivers More Port Cranes to Porto Chibatão
22. February 2024The logistics provider Mader (headquartered in Ansbach) has gained another customer for the load carrier circular economy. A renowned manufacturer from the medical technology sector has awarded the Mader Group the contract for the provision, including the cleaning of reusable containers. The new contract will be implemented at the long-established Mader location in Nuremberg.
(Ansbach/Nuremberg) The Mader Group has been specializing in empty goods management since the late 1980s and today provides the entire organized process of cleaning load carriers for production companies at its four locations in Ansbach, Nuremberg, Heidelberg, and Heimerdingen near Stuttgart.
As part of the new medical technology contract, Mader picks up the load carriers (LT) and trays (inserts in the empty carriers), assesses them regarding the quality requirements for the next cycle, and cleans them according to the highest standards on Mader’s modern industrial cleaning systems. The LT and trays are managed systematically by Mader and are replenished as needed through a (E)-Kanban system that electronically controls the actual consumption of the LT and trays. The contract also includes sorting, commissioning, storage, and packaging, as well as on-demand delivery to the production line.
Short Transport Routes and Quick Availability
“Short transport routes and the quick availability of clean reusable packaging are part of the supply chain. The increasingly prevalent circulation traffic in medical technology reduces CO2 consumption, conserves resources, and avoids waste. Our efficient empty goods management ensures that the containers are quickly available in sufficient quantities again. Additionally, the small load carriers and trays remain usable for longer with good supply. We are very pleased about the new life cycle contract from the medical technology sector,” reports Herbert Schmidt, authorized signatory of the Mader Group.
