5. March 2024As of April 1, Arthur Welter Transports s.àr.l from Luxembourg will be the new system partner in the general cargo network of Online System Logistics (OSL). The first handling at the OSL central HUB will take place on the night of April 2 to 3. In addition to its headquarters in Luxembourg, Arthur Welter Transports has branches in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Slovakia; key routes include Germany, France, and Benelux.
(Paderborn/Luxembourg) “We are very pleased to emphasize the international orientation of our general cargo network with Arthur Welter Transports,” says Verena Käuper, authorized signatory at Online System Logistics. The area of Arthur Welter Transports s.àr.l – société à responsabilité limitée – covers all of Luxembourg. “With the location in Luxembourg and the corresponding expertise, we have our ideal fit here,” says Verena Käuper. “At the same time, we can optimize an area again, as the transit times for distribution and procurement will continue to shorten.” Previously, the region was covered by the OSL partner KS Logistics from the location Kell am See in Germany; KS Logistics will remain a system partner in the OSL network with Kell am See and other locations.
Expanding Presence in Germany
In addition to its headquarters in Luxembourg, Arthur Welter Transports has branches in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Slovakia; key routes include Germany, France, and Benelux. Founded in 1962, this owner-managed family business employs a total of 750 staff. Around 400 vehicles are in operation for customers. The range of services includes not only general cargo business but also international transport, full and partial loads, as well as customs clearance. For logistics services, 10,000 sqm of handling space, 20,000 sqm of storage space, and 53,300 sqm of logistics area are available. Through the partnership with Online System Logistics, the Luxembourg company aims to expand its presence in Germany and optimize its coverage.
