On April 18, Germany will once again celebrate: Logistics Day
16. March 2024The Federal Association of Parcel and Express Logistics (BIEK) welcomes its new member myflexbox. The platform for provider-neutral parcel stations will join the association on March 15, 2024. myflexbox is the largest provider-neutral smart locker network in the German-speaking region. The basis of its success is neutrality.
(Berlin/Munich) “We are pleased to expand our membership spectrum with myflexbox. The company is the first BIEK member that is not a courier, express, and parcel service provider,” says BIEK Chairman Marten Bosselmann. “The parcel market is now much more than just the transport, sorting, and delivery of shipments. Innovative solutions are in demand, especially for the challenging last mile. This is exactly what the competition offers. We have been advocating for provider-neutral parcel stations for years. They enable sustainable and efficient delivery of parcels and provide excellent service for recipients. myflexbox fits perfectly into our association.”
Lukas Wieser, Co-CEO and founder of myflexbox, also sees only advantages in the future collaboration: “We are very pleased about the BIEK membership, as we have always seen ourselves as part of the parcel industry. We have always worked closely with the largest parcel service providers to jointly develop solutions for low-emission urban spaces with the highest quality of life.”
“We are proud to contribute to improving parcel supply in Germany as a BIEK member with our neutral, provider-neutral last-mile infrastructure,” adds Jonathan Grothaus, also Co-CEO and founder of myflexbox.
myflexbox is the largest provider-neutral smart locker network in the German-speaking region. The basis of myflexbox’s success is neutrality. myflexbox does not compete with parcel service providers but complements their networks. The myflexbox platform has been designed from the beginning to unite all parcel service providers in one system without favoring any individual provider. This is reflected in the DNA of the entire company. To master the numerous challenges of the parcel industry, an ever-increasing variety of solutions is necessary. This also means reducing dependencies on market leaders.
