Emons is following its strategy to expand its international network by acquiring Medeg Logistics AG, Ruggell in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The freight forwarding and logistics company operates 7,600 m² of logistics space with 20 employees and has its own fleet.
(Köln/Ruggell) The previous owner of Medeg Logistics AG, Gabriele Degenhart, will continue to manage the location as managing director. The transfer of majority ownership to Emons Spedition GmbH & Co. KG is effective retroactively from January 1, 2024.
With the new location, Emons gains a presence in Liechtenstein, providing access to Eastern Switzerland. “For the three branches of Emons in Switzerland, Ruggell – in the north of the Principality of Liechtenstein – is an optimal addition. We are also completely aligned in terms of our high quality standards in corporate philosophy,” reports Ralf Wieland, CEO of Emons.
