Shipping Company Hapag-Lloyd Unveils Its Strategy 2030
Apr 16, 2024 at 7:41 PMEmons is following its strategy to expand its international network by acquiring Medeg Logistics AG, Ruggell in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The freight forwarding and logistics company operates 7,600 m² of logistics space with 20 employees and has its own fleet.
(Köln/Ruggell) The previous owner of Medeg Logistics AG, Gabriele Degenhart, will continue to manage the location as managing director. The transfer of majority ownership to Emons Spedition GmbH & Co. KG is effective retroactively from January 1, 2024.
With the new location, Emons gains a presence in Liechtenstein, providing access to Eastern Switzerland. “For the three branches of Emons in Switzerland, Ruggell – in the north of the Principality of Liechtenstein – is an optimal addition. We are also completely aligned in terms of our high quality standards in corporate philosophy,” reports Ralf Wieland, CEO of Emons.
“Joining the Emons network and its product portfolio opens up new opportunities for us and secures the future of the company,” says Gabriele Degenhart with pleasure.
