Schauer Becomes New Partner for Clark in Austria

With Schauer Gabelstapler GmbH, Clark Europe has gained a new distribution partner for Austria. The company, based in Gabersdorf in Styria, will take over the sales activities for Clark Europe in Styria, Carinthia, Lower Austria, Vienna, and Burgenland in the future.

(Duisburg/Gabersdorf) Schauer Gabelstapler GmbH was founded in 2013 by Karlheinz Schauer as a sole proprietorship. Within a short time, the company was very successful in the areas of service, repair, rental, and sale of forklifts, leading to his brother, Martin Schauer, joining the company in 2016. The range of services was expanded to include the repair and service of combustion engines, electric drives and controls, special conversions, repairs on hydraulic systems, and battery regeneration. The team around the “Schauer Brothers” also grew continuously.

In 2020, Schauer Gabelstapler established a GmbH and further expanded its portfolio with the sale and rental of aerial work platforms. To be prepared for the future, the brothers started planning a new company location in 2020. In 2021, the company moved to Gabersdorf into a new large and modern forklift workshop. Here, on a 5000 m² plot, there are 1000 m² of building space with offices, sales and storage rooms, a modern workshop with a hydraulic station for the production of various hoses and lines, a training room for up to 25 people that can also be booked externally, a showroom for new and used vehicles, as well as a large spare parts warehouse.

Sale of New and Used Equipment

Meanwhile, the company, which has long made a name for itself in the industry, employs 13 people – of which eight are service technicians. The service portfolio today includes, among other things, the sale of new and used equipment, service and repair of forklifts from all manufacturers, annual safety inspections, rental of aerial work platforms and forklifts, planning of storage concepts, and the repair and sale of batteries.

For Clark Europe, Schauer offers the complete Clark service spectrum in Austria. This includes not only the distribution of all Clark forklift classes and warehouse technology vehicles but also the supply of Clark spare and accessory parts, a comprehensive range of services including rental and financing, as well as nationwide service for Clark new and used material handling equipment.
