Trailer Dynamics and Thermo King Join Forces

Trailer Dynamics, a technology innovator of eTrailers, has announced that Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT), a global leader in climate innovation focused on sustainable solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation, along with its brand Thermo King, has become a strategic minority investor and cooperation partner of Trailer Dynamics, alongside the German trailer manufacturer Krone. The cooperation will drive innovations that increase efficiency, accelerate the transition to emission-free transport in Europe, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

(Eschweiler) The eTrailer from Trailer Dynamics offers a supportive electric drive that, in combination with conventional tractors powered by internal combustion engines, enables a significant reduction in diesel and CO₂ emissions, increases the range when combined with an electrically powered tractor, and provides the ability to power electrified or conventional trailer refrigeration units (TRUs).

Thermo King will contribute its expertise in electrification and transport refrigeration. The collaboration will enable the integration of technologies that will revolutionize the industry and provide improved logistics capabilities for trade, industry, and freight forwarders in the transport of fresh and frozen goods.
