21. May 2024The business platform BUILDINX – INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES opens its doors from November 19 to 21, 2024, at the Dortmund Messe, bringing together big players from the logistics and industrial real estate sectors with start-ups. This is facilitated by formats such as the Founders Fight and the Innovation Gym.
(Dortmund) As the first trade fair of its kind, BUILDINX focuses on the entire value chain of innovative logistics and industrial real estate. It is not only a platform for innovation and networking but also offers the unique advantage of direct contact with decision-makers and professionals from the fields of real estate, financing, technology, new construction, renovation, industry, logistics, and trade.
With innovative formats like the Founders Fights, BUILDINX aims to capture the special interest of visitors. Here, two start-ups compete in a rhetorical pitch fight in a boxing ring. They try to convince an expert jury of their product or service within a short time using their respective business models and respond as best as possible to critical questions. The audience determines the winner of each round. Representatives from the big players in the industry will also be listening closely to seek conversations with interesting young entrepreneurs and initiate joint projects. The Innovation Gym provides numerous additional fresh ideas: In a workshop area, start-ups and established companies come together during the entire fair in interactive “workouts” of about 45 minutes each, consisting of an expert keynote and a group exercise.
Among the young companies at BUILDINX is, for example, the software specialists node.energy from Frankfurt am Main. Managing Director Michael Blichmann explains: “We enable owners of commercial properties to implement their PV business models as profitably as possible. Our SaaS platform supports comprehensive planning, realization, and operation of onsite PPAs up to a full supply of 100 percent green electricity directly from wind and PV systems. We look forward to making our innovative solutions in the world of logistics real estate better known at BUILDINX.”
Solutions that Simplify Planning
Additionally, a major name has confirmed its participation as an exhibitor at BUILDINX: TRILUX, a manufacturer specializing in professional LED lighting and custom lighting solutions from the Sauerland region, employs about 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to sustainability. Michael Blum, Managing Director of TRILUX Vertrieb GmbH, states: “The market demands solutions that not only meet the increased demands for quality, sustainability, and design but are also easy and safe to handle. They must simplify planning and be adaptable to future challenges. With our innovations, we provide exactly the right answers – and we will showcase them in the right light at BUILDINX.”
