Rhenus Warehousing Wins C&A as a Client in Hückelhoven
20. July 2024With the new series of deep-freeze cool packs, Ecocool GmbH expands its portfolio of cooling elements for the passive transport cooling of food and pharmaceuticals. Thanks to their melting point of up to minus 21 degrees Celsius, the cooling packs enable the shipping of frozen products in suitable insulated packaging. With the help of the new TK elements, the target temperature of the goods is reliably maintained in the deep-freeze range during transport in the corresponding packaging.
(Bremerhaven) The TK cooling elements are filled with a saltwater mixture that can be disposed of in the drain after use. All cooling elements from Ecocool are approved for direct contact with food. “Our new TK cool packs expand our range of cooling elements and sensibly complete our portfolio in the lower temperature range,” says Ecocool Managing Director Dr. Florian Siedenburg. “Upon request, we can also supply customized elements with printed or colored films as well as with different filling quantities in addition to the standard cool packs.”
The melting point for the cooling packs can be customized – for example, to just minus 5 or minus 10 degrees Celsius. This individual adjustment particularly helps those users who need cooling packs with a negative melting point but cannot achieve freezing with their own systems in the deep cold range of significantly below minus 20 degrees and more.
Wide Range of Cooling Elements
The standard sizes of the TK cool packs range from dimensions of 190 x 140 x 17 millimeters to 380 x 280 x 17 millimeters. The cooling weight spectrum ranges from 500 to 2,000 grams. In addition to its insulated packaging, Ecocool offers a wide range of cooling elements for pharmaceutical and food shipping.
