Transport platform Transporeon expands into Turkey

Transporeon, a company of Trimble, announced today its expansion into the Turkish transport logistics sector. Additionally, the transport management platform informed about the appointment of an experienced Turkish-speaking country manager who will lead the local operations.

(UlmIstanbul) Turkey is considered a growth market for shippers and freight forwarders operating both nationally and cross-border. Reasons for this include Turkey’s direct access to European sea routes as well as the rapidly developing road transport network. Transporeon’s experts therefore see great potential for manufacturers and suppliers to optimize their supply chains offshore and nearshore.

Transporeon has entrusted Gökalp Kobe Ertuğrul with the implementation of its growth objectives for 2024 in Turkey. The new country manager will lead the expansion and support local businesses. With nearly 20 years of experience in the logistics and transport industry both in Turkey and abroad, Ertuğrul shares Transporeon’s belief that there are significant development opportunities for shippers and freight forwarders both within and outside the country.
