Sep 5, 2024 at 4:06 PMThe MOSOLF Group, one of the leading system service providers in the automotive industry in Europe, officially presented its new service product “Emission-Free Vehicle Delivery Baden-Württemberg” at its branch in Illingen. In the presence of the Minister of Transport of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Hermann, the innovative concept was presented at a festive event, and the fleet at the location was expanded with additional fully electric car transporters.
(Kirchheim/Teck) The emission-free transports offer customers an additional option to organize vehicle delivery in a more sustainable manner. With the launch of the concept, the MOSOLF Group once again takes a pioneering role in the industry and demonstrates how logistics can be successfully aligned with modern environmental standards. As part of its corporate strategy, the MOSOLF Group is committed to the gradual transformation of its truck fleet towards low-emission drive technologies. Starting now, up to six fully electric car transporters are available for use at the Illingen location, with another six vehicles to follow at the beginning of 2025.
“Climate-neutral freight transport is no longer a distant dream on the road. The technology is here – and it works. Our goal is that by 2030, every second ton in freight transport will be climate-neutral. Here we can see how forward-looking companies are already putting this into practice today. As a country, we will support companies in their implementation,” emphasizes Winfried Hermann, Minister of Transport of Baden-Württemberg.
Commitment to More Sustainable Transport Solutions
Dr. Jörg Mosolf, CEO of the MOSOLF Group, states: “With the introduction of the new service product, we emphasize our commitment to more sustainable transport solutions. This gives our customers the opportunity to operate in an even more environmentally friendly and efficient manner. The new product is part of our corporate strategy, which includes the transformation of our truck fleet towards CO2-low drive technologies.”
“The MOSOLF Group demonstrates its innovative strength and the potential of the industry for the future with the commissioning of new electric trucks. With the expansion of the electrically operated fleet, up to 1,000 tons of CO2 can be saved annually at the Illingen location,” adds Dr. Egon Christ, Head of Corporate Strategy at the MOSOLF Group.
Dr. Volker Wissing, Federal Minister for Digital and Transport: “We support the MOSOLF Group in the transition to climate-friendly electric trucks with around 2 million euros.
