6. September 2024The new Cargo Dashboard displays incoming cargo volumes and processes at Frankfurt Airport in real-time, marking a crucial step towards the consistent optimization of cargo processes through digitalization. The goal of the dashboard is to provide the companies involved in the Cargo Community with a comprehensive picture of the current operational situation. Based on this data, they can objectively assess the operational status and adjust processes as needed.
(Frankfurt) “The Cargo Dashboard provides all stakeholders with information about the entire process chain at a glance,” explains Martina Schikorr, Managing Director of allivate GmbH. “This includes the distribution of landing cargo volumes throughout the day, current turnaround times, infrastructure utilization, and the performance of the entire process chain. This allows bottlenecks to be identified, resources to be better planned, and customers to be provided with a reliable picture of performance.”
The user-friendly dashboard, which is integrated into the Cargo Community System FAIR@Link, particularly offers decision-makers in the Cargo Community valuable insights into the current process quality and efficiency at the location. The expansion by allivate was made possible by the extensive data from the systems of numerous companies and the joint expertise of Fraport and DAKOSY.
High Willingness to Cooperate Among Companies
Particularly noteworthy is the high willingness to cooperate among the companies at the location, which transparently provide their data. This underscores the close and trusting collaboration within the Cargo Community, which was significantly involved in the development. Unlike traditional Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, allivate integrates data from various sources, creating a comprehensive and overarching situational picture for all stakeholders.
