20. September 2024With today’s groundbreaking, HARDER logistics begins the expansion of its activities in the Riffelbank industrial area. By the end of 2025, a logistics hall, an office building, and additional logistics spaces will be created there. HARDER logistics aims to centrally manage all business activities from the new location.
(Neu-Ulm) Just 14 days after the building permit was granted, HARDER logistics is starting the planned expansion projects in the Riffelbank industrial area. The contracted Blautal construction company from Blaubeuren is already active on the construction site as the general contractor.
The following elements are specifically planned: * Logistics hall height 10 m, area 4,800 sqm * Office building, two stories, 800 sqm * Outdoor logistics areas for the fleet, 4,500 sqm “With an investment of about nine million euros, we are completing our strategic step to establish ourselves securely, sustainably, and logistically well at the Neu-Ulm location. We have direct access to the A7 motorway and the European road B 10,” explains Marcello Danieli, managing owner of HARDER logistics, on the occasion of the groundbreaking.
In implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy, the company focuses on a mix of measures. This includes the installation of a photovoltaic system for self-supply as well as the charging infrastructure for the fleet. An air/water heat pump heats the office building, supplemented by additional heating and cooling ceilings. An intelligent energy management system ensures optimal interaction between the various sources of supply. A green roof on the office building helps integrate the complex well into nature.
Fully Automated Container Storage Hall Since 2022
In 2022, HARDER logistics opened a fully automated container storage hall on the site in the Riffelbank industrial area, with a storage capacity for 250 containers and an investment volume of 7 million euros. This facility features an innovative unique selling point. Users can autonomously control the loading and unloading process via an app and thus access their containers 24/7 independently.
