CTL Establishes IT Subsidiary SoftWard GmbH
1. October 2024The logistics company Transco is pleased to announce the extension of its contract with the Swiss sleepwear brand Dagsmejan. The successful partnership, which has been in place for two years, encompasses the entire handling of E-Fulfillment processes for B2B and B2C customers of the Swiss company by Transco.
(Singen) “We are very pleased that with Dagsmejan we not only have a strong brand with high quality standards, but also a strong partner on board with whom we can grow together for several years now.” Thus David Bücheler, co-owner of Transco GmbH and responsible for logistics and E-Fulfillment within the corporate group.
With E-Fulfillment, Transco has been able to establish another successful business area alongside transport, logistics, and customs clearance in recent years. At the Transco logistics center in Gottmadingen, near the Swiss border, all e-commerce processes for B2B and B2C customers from various industries are handled, from storage to order picking to worldwide shipping. The centerpiece is the fully automated small parts warehouse from AutoStore®, which is particularly suitable for smaller products such as clothing or cosmetics. The facility has already handled 25,000 bins and was expanded in the summer of 2024 to up to 40,000 bins and 35 robots. With a particularly high goods density and network-based robot control, the storage enables strong efficiency and a significantly lower energy consumption than conventional storage systems.
“Before collaborating with Transco, we had our inventory spread across two locations. With Transco, we were able to consolidate our stock for the first time, which has brought us significant advantages in inventory management and distribution. With Transco, we have found a partner who can support us very well on our growth journey,” confirms Andreas Lenzhofer, CEO of Dagsmejan Ventures AG.
