(Karlsruhe) For more than 30 years, PTV Logistics has set the standard for transport cost calculation in companies with PTV Map&Guide. The next generation of the software is now available. This version of PTV Map&Guide features a completely new, user-friendly interface that allows for even easier operation. In addition, numerous updates, use cases, and new features have been added to help users improve route planning, increase efficiency, and gain insights into calculations such as transport costs, emissions, tolls, as well as time and distance.
Features
- Simulation of routes for electric vehicles (EV), allowing for comparison with other vehicle types.
- Improved toll cost forecasting based on current information, considering all emission classes including EV, LNG, CNG, and hybrid vehicles.

- Powerful routing with improvements in standard and custom dynamic routing, providing faster calculation times and more accurate results even for complex and long routes.
- Global map coverage, allowing routes to be planned and optimized anywhere in the world.
- Enhanced planning that considers seasonal and regional traffic flows and anticipates future traffic events to enable proactive route adjustments.
- Support for bid calculation through comprehensive route comparisons that take into account costs, distance, time, emissions, and regional regulations.
- Standardized km calculations to simplify transport billing and emissions reporting (according to the latest ISO, GLEC, and HBEFA standards) to ensure compliance.
