DHL continues its successful partnership with the German Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (BSD) – even beyond the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. The company has extended its contract with the federation as a global logistics partner until the end of the 2026/2027 season. This means that the iconic yellow bobs will continue to be seen in the ice channels.
(Bonn) Thanks to extensive branding rights, the company color yellow will also remain a distinguishing feature on other sports equipment as well as the sportswear of the German team. The partnership includes not only bobsleigh but also the disciplines of luge and skeleton.

Their passion, speed, and team spirit align perfectly with our performance promise. We are proud to further develop this partnership now.”
Logistics for All Equipment
The partnership with the BSD has existed since the winter season 2014/2015. It covers the logistics for all equipment of the athletes. For the World Championships of lugers in Whistler (Canada) as well as the bobsleigh and skeleton World Championships in Lake Placid (USA), DHL transports about 40 boxes of sports equipment and gear for the BSD, for example. Each of these weighs up to a ton.

Transport for Other Federations
Beyond Germany, DHL also collaborates with the International Luge Federation (FIL) as well as the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF). This adds transport for other national federations. The various deliveries can often be bundled, enabling synergies.
