26. November 2024Even better connections to and from Eastern Europe: Cargo Trans Logistik AG (CTL) has entered into a strategic cooperation with Waberer’s Network Kft (Waberer’s). The 100% subsidiary of the Waberer’s Group offers around 75 route connections between the Waberer’s hub in Budapest and 100 European hubs.
(Homburg/Budapest) With the new cooperation, CTL is taking the next step in its internationalization strategy, which it has been focusing on for a year. The partners of the groupage network benefit from the Waberer’s network and can in turn offer their customers significantly better connections to Eastern Europe and shorter transit times.
“The cooperation with Waberer’s Network is the ideal and at the same time the most logical step for us as CTL towards Eastern Europe. With the Hungarian market leader in groupage, we have found the perfect partner at eye level for our network. Through the extensive network, we create connections for our partners that they can offer at competitive rates,” explains Abraham Garcia Martinez, CFO of CTL AG. The collaboration between CTL and Waberer’s marks another milestone in the international orientation of the groupage cooperation from Homberg/Efze.
Shorter Transit Times
Thus, the more than 200 network partners can access the extensive groupage network of Waberer’s Network and offer their customers reliable and fast procurement and delivery transports at competitive rates. With daily departures from the CTL central hub in Homberg/Efze to the central hub of Waberer’s in Budapest, transit times to and from Hungary are reduced from more than 72 hours to 48 hours. The CTL network partners also benefit from even better connections to and from the Danube Republic. Here, Waberer’s offers comprehensive coverage of the entire Hungarian territory as well as numerous European hubs for cost-effective and reliable transport.
Market Leader in Hungary
Waberer’s International Nyrt. was founded in 1948 and is the market leader for customized logistics solutions in Hungary as well as one of the leading logistics specialists in Europe. The corporate group has 280 pulling units and more than 250,000 square meters of warehouse space. Waberer’s specializes in partial and full loads, temperature-controlled transport, hazardous goods, and warehousing logistics solutions. Over its more than 75-year history, Waberer’s has built industry expertise in areas such as automotive, electronics, fast-moving consumer goods, and retail. Judit Palicska, Managing Director of Waberer’s Network, comments on the collaboration: “As a member of CTL, we strengthen our commitment to providing faster and more efficient logistics solutions throughout Germany and beyond. This partnership allows us to draw on a very extensive network from which our customers will benefit through shorter transit times and greater reliability. With daily departures and a continuous transit time of 48 hours, we look forward to setting a new standard in our service offering.”
Focus on Internationalization
For more than a year, CTL has focused on the further development of international relations. Garcia Martinez, who is responsible for this task, says: “Before entering into a cooperation, we carefully examine what added value it has for our partners. Our goal is to strategically and purposefully expand the network to open up new connections and reduce lead times.”
