3. December 2024Last Friday, the 17th German Sustainability Award was presented in Düsseldorf as part of a two-day congress. The Engen-based medium-sized company allsafe won with its refurbishing offer “all:change”. This product repairs damaged and worn load securing devices.
(Engen/Düsseldorf) “We are essentially doing what was normal for our parents and grandparents. Just on a larger, industrial scale,” outlines Managing Director Jens Laufer the product with which allsafe has won. It is a repair program for damaged and worn load securing devices “all:change”, which is already used by many renowned freight forwarders and fleets. “The special thing about it is that our customers can even save money with all:change compared to buying new. Thus, sustainability is no longer an expensive extra, but a contribution to cost savings,” adds the responsible product manager Matthias König.
allsafe is particularly proud to now be among the winners after several placements in the finals: “The award is not endowed with a monetary amount. However, in our perception, it is highly valued: it honors the commitment of the people at allsafe, who manage to develop a successful business model without consuming more and more resources,” Laufer is pleased to say.
Around 3,000 guests from business, media, and politics attended the congress and gala event, including Federal Minister Klara Geywitz, physician Eckart von Hirschhausen, and meteorologist Karsten Schwanke. In several categories, particularly sustainable companies and products were honored.
