CTP develops largest project in Germany in Düsseldorf
Dec 19, 2024 at 1:44 PMPanattoni has handed over another build-to-suit property (BTS) for Dachser in Landsberg, Saxony-Anhalt. The customized building complex serves the logistics service provider to expand its business activities at the existing branch. This continues Dachser’s successful partnership with Panattoni – the two companies have now implemented a project together for the ninth time.
(Hamburg/Landsberg) The new facility in Landsberg is excellently connected to the A9 and A14 motorways, making it only about 20 km from the Container Terminal Halle/Saale and 25 km from Halle/Leipzig Airport. The new building comprises approximately 18,000 m² of hall space, 700 m² of mezzanine, and 1,400 m² for office and social rooms. Special attention has been paid to the flexible design of the property to meet the diverse requirements of Dachser’s various customers, primarily serving the retail sector. Three of the four hall sections are equipped with cooling functions and are specifically tailored for the storage of temperature-sensitive food items such as baked goods, meat products, or dairy products.
“The completion of this construction project is an important milestone for our logistics center Leipzig/Halle. With the new property, we can expand our capacities and offer our customers tailored warehouse solutions,” explains Thomas Burger, Head of Construction & Real Estate at Dachser. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner of Panattoni Germany and Austria, is pleased about the trust that the logistics service provider places in Panattoni: “We are proud to have realized another project with Dachser that sets standards in terms of flexibility and sustainability. Thanks to our close collaboration, we have succeeded in completing the property to this high standard on time.”
1,000 kilowatt peak for self-supply
The high standard also includes the sustainability requirements of the property. The customized building was constructed according to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Among other things, a photovoltaic system on the roof with an installed capacity of nearly 1,000 kilowatt peak supports the self-supply of the building.
